A publication on the FAIR framework
Within the EU Interreg FAIR-project, a technical framework for aligning efforts in adaptive asset management of flood protection has been developed.
The framework aligns and operationalizes concepts from ISO-standards on climate adaptation and asset management. It has proven its value in solving asset management questions in various Pilot studies in the North Sea Region. Aside from improved asset management efficiency, it was also found that use of the framework improved understanding of the considered flood protection systems, as well as communication among different stakeholders.
This publication has been published in a special issue of INFRASTRUCTURES.
